Moderating Role of Social Support on the Relationship Between Loss of Relation and Quality of Life among Adults

|
The purpose of this study was to investigate moderating role of social support between loss of relation(loss of death and severance in relationship) and quality of life(QoL) among adults. Data were collected from 338 adults age between 20-65 years old. Collected data were analyzed by frequency, t-test, moderated multiple regression and simple slope analysis. The major findings of this study were as follows: First, loss of relation were significantly related to the quality of life. Second, social support moderated between loss of death and quality of life. These findings supported the importance of intervention for people with loss of relation. Suggestions of mental health social work were discussed and proposed future research.
